In addition to my training in Clinical Psychology, I
hold an MBA and specialized in Organizational Development as I completed
my doctoral program. I also have extensive experience in providing
organizational development consultation to organizations throughout the
Chicagoland area. I am able to offer consultation regarding change
management, employee assistance and enhancement, program evaluation, and
research assistance.
Business Services
As a consultant, I can provide many different types of services depending on what exactly you and your organization needs. My job is to help you identify your goals for your organization and then find ways to meet those goals by effectively using the resources your organization has available.
Consultation: As a consultant, my job is to partner with an organization to conduct a thorough and honest analysis of its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. This analysis can lead to a plan for change. This analysis is essential to successfully creating change in an organization. My focus is to help the employees, managers, and directors to have an open and honest dialogue about their views of the organization and help to manage interpersonal and interdepartmental dynamics to ensure that the plan for change is implemented effectively.
Employee Services: At times, individual employees may be identified by managers as needing help with interacting with other employees or finding motivation to continue doing the job. I can provide assistance to individual employees to help them figure out what is going on and what they want to do about it. The goal is to help the organization become more effective by cultivating employee effectiveness.
Program Evaluations: I have worked extensively with non-profit organizations who often want or need to know how effective their services are. Program evaluation can help to identify what the organization does well and where it can improve. These types of evaluations can be very useful in obtaining or maintaining funding. Similar to change management consultation, my job is to facilitate a conservation between all levels of employees as well as between employees and clients. The goal of the program evaluation is to create a plan to continue improving services in order to best meet client needs. Part of this process may be implementing an outcome measurement protocol. I can help to identify important outcomes and determine how to measure them in order to identify targeted areas for improvement and prove to funders just how effective the program is.
Research: Organizations often want to conduct research both internally and externally. This can be done to identify employee satisfaction, customer or client satisfaction, demand for new products or services, or perception of the organization by the community, to name a few research needs. As a psychologist, I am well trained in research design as well as data collection and analysis. I can help to design the research study in order to collect the most useful data and conduct the analysis to understand what the data says about the organization.
Fees
Prices for my business services are dependent on the
nature of the service, the length of the project, travel involved,
expenses incurred, and time commitment required. Part of our first session will involve determining your need for
my services, the nature of the engagement, and the total fee. Depending
on the nature of the service needed, an hourly rate may be agreed up
instead of a total fee. If we decide at this initial session that consultation services are not needed or that I am not the right match for your needs, the fee for that session is $180.
